I bought two holsters from the Holster Store at different times. Both were of excellent quality and great value. It both cases, the holsters were left handed models and, therefore, special orders. However, both holsters were received in less time than that advertised.
These holsters are both Pro Carry. The leather is thick, smooth on the outside and like rawhide inside. They slide into the waistband easily. There is no retention strap. However, the gun fit is tight so there is no movement of the gun inside the holster, even when running. Yet, the weapons draw easily with no binding.
I am right handed, so I carry the left handed holster at the small of my back in my waistband. However, the metal clip allows me to open-carry on my right side, a great plus for hiking in the back country.
I will continue to do business with the Holster Store whenever they have a product that meets my needs.
